Kurt and Marilyn Wallach’s Gift Will Create a Home for Holocaust and Jewish Studies at Florida Atlantic

Kurt and Marilyn Wallach have put their values in action, partnering with Florida Atlantic to make a transformational gift that will create the Kurt and Marilyn Wallach Institute for Holocaust and Jewish Studies.

The Wallach Institute will include a building or building addition that will serve as the hub for study of the Holocaust, human rights, and understanding, and will encourage enhanced collaborations to strengthen the prominence of these programs.

Kurt and Marilyn share a lifelong commitment to educating on the Holocaust to ensure the lessons of this horrific point in our world’s history remain relevant. “We speak for those who cannot speak. We remember all the victims, including our family members, who perished needlessly,” Kurt says. “No one should ever be subjected to such horror. We hope that through the education we can provide that lives will be saved and history will not be repeated.”
